We are now embarking on the website revamp job. If you have any views on what's needed, please send them in via "Contact Us" or straight to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We're still working on making the site easier to edit. Each organisation must be able to create and amend its own materials, so there'll be no excuse for leaving stale material in place, or not adding the latest.

For "stop press" matters, if you tell us in a few lines what you would like to see on the front page, we'll do our best to oblige.

And for twitterers .... is it useful?

A good recycling leaflet

If you want to find out what may go in which recycling bin, or not at all, go to ….

http://www.southoxon.gov.uk/services-and-advice/recycling-rubbish-and-waste/your-recycling-and-waste-collections

The recent leaflet was very informative and encouraged me to ask whether I can use newspaper in the waste food caddy instead of buying green bags. I could have found the answer on the website but didn't explore deep enough.

The answer is YES

Ewelme News Library Archive

Any of the the previously published copies of the Ewelme News, including the latest issue, can now be downloaded in pdf format (requires Adobe Reader to view). It has taken a while to bring this archive completely up to date, but hopefully it will be systematically updated from now on as each new issue gets distributed.
